Guest Details

Daniel and Henrik Sedin

Drafted second and third overall, respectively, in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, Daniel and Henrik Sedin spent their entire 17-year careers with the Vancouver Canucks. Henrik is the franchise’s all-time leader in assists (830) and points (1070) as well as games played (1330) while no Canuck player has scored more than Daniel’s 393 goals with his points (1041) and games played (1306) ranking his second.

The brothers each won an Art Ross Trophy as the NHL’s leading scorer with Henrik earning the honour in 2010 – as well as the Hart Memorial Trophy as the most valuable player -- while Daniel won his Art Ross Trophy in 2010 in addition to the Ted Lindsay Award, which is presented to the most valuable player as judged by members of the NHL Players’ Association. Henrik also won the King Clancy Memorial Trophy – given to the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice – in 2016 with the Sedins sharing the award in 2018.

They’ve also won gold medals at both the Olympics and World Championships for Sweden.

Upon their retirement, Daniel’s #22 and Henrik’s #33 jerseys were retired by the Canucks and in 2022, they were inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Richard Brodeur

Nicknamed ‘King Richard’, Brodeur backstopped the underdog Canucks all the way to the 1982 Stanley Cup Finals.

Brodeur played in the Western Hockey Association for the Quebec Nordiques before debuting in the NHL with the New York Islanders before he was traded to Vancouver in 1980. He retired from the NHL in 1988 with all but eight of his 385 games played with the Canucks. He continues to live in B.C. and is a well-known artist with his most famous series “Childhood Memories” depictions of youngsters playing hockey on frozen ponds, backyard rinks, streets and back alleys all over Canada.

J.T. Miller

The 15th overall pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, J.T. Miller was acquired by the Canucks in 2019. He is a three-time 30-goal scorer with Vancouver and led the team in scoring last season with a career-high 103 points.

Since debuting in the NHL in the 2012-13 season, Miller has played more than 800 regular season games with 238 goals and 639 points in 799 games entering this season.

Conor Garland

After beginning his career with the Arizona Coyotes, Conor Garland joined the Canucks ahead of the 2021 season. He has twice scored 20-plus goals and entered this season with 103 career goals and 241 points in 404 games.

Garland was a fifth round pick in 2015 out of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
